Direct fire and shadow damage

Why it scores this way

  • Affliction damage over time plus scaled pets makes solo leveling smooth.
  • Shadow Mastery rises to 2/4/6/8/10% Shadow damage (was 1-5%).
  • Pets now scale with your stats, so the Voidwalker tanks and the Succubus hits hard.
  • Soul Link can now be cast on your pet, and Grim Reach adds 10/20% Affliction range.
  • Dungeon tanks struggle to hold threat against strong pets and damage over time.

Strong at

  • Smooth, safe leveling
  • Tough scaling pets
  • Strong in duels

Weak at

  • Combat feels slow
  • Tanks lose threat to you
  • Demonology capstone feels like a patch
